COVID-19 Response Plan
We want you to know the health and safety of our customers, employees and their families is GEM Edwards Pharmacy’s top priority, and we have executed on our pre-established business continuity and pandemic contingency plans, in accordance with guidelines set by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
GEM Edwards Pharmacy is an essential business and we are fully staffed and operational. We are continually monitoring the situation and will continue to safely provide the prescriptions that our clinics and patients rely on.
Also, as a compounding pharmacy, we always have and will continue to perform our daily detailed and thorough facility cleaning, in which most would consider a “deep clean”. We use EPA registered disinfectants and germicidal detergents daily.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- GEM Edwards Pharmacy is in close contact with our FDA-registered vendor partners to ensure we have adequate materials. We are not currently experiencing any product shortages.
- We currently have restricted prescription pickups to reduce risk of exposure and facility contamination. However, to limit exposure and maintain continuity of care, we offer free shipping on all medications.
- We offer multiple ways to place an order or refill your medications. Our pharmacists and supporting staff will remain available and accessible Monday-Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm ET and Saturday from 8:30am to 9:30am. Please Note that we are experiencing higher-than-normal call volumes.

Yes, GEM Edwards Pharmacy is open and fully operational at this time. We are considered an essential business, and we are able to receive and fulfill medication orders.

Our employees are our most valuable asset, and GEM Edwards Pharmacy is doing its best to keep them safe.
The only employees at our headquarters are essential personnel. The remainder or our team has been moved to work remotely to continue servicing our customers. For our essential personnel at our headquarters, we are following all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Ohio Department of Public Health.
We have implemented daily temperature checks for all employees and sending home any employee with a fever or who doesn’t feel well. Within the office and warehouse, we are following social distancing guidelines by keeping employees at least 6 feet away from one another at all times. We have also scheduled additional cleaning services and employees are washing their hands and sanitizing their workspaces on a regular basis.
