How does the Eversense E3 CGM System work?

Eversense E3 provides continuous blood glucose monitoring for up to 180 days via an under-the-skin sensor, a removable and rechargeable smart transmitter, and a convenient app for real-time diabetes monitoring and management.

How often are glucose readings captured?

The transmitter sends data every 5 minutes to your mobile device, and provides on-body alerts so you don’t always have to have your mobile device nearby.

Is it waterproof?

The transmitter is water resistant when submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

Is the Eversense E3 CGM compatible with a mobile device?

Yes. The Eversense app receives and displays data in easy-to-read charts and graphs. No need to carry a separate receiver. Instead, you can discreetly check your info on a compatible Android™ or iOS smartphone or Apple Watch.®

*Water resistant when submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes.

The Eversense® E3 Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System is indicated for continually measuring glucose levels for up to 180 days in persons with diabetes age 18 and older. The system is indicated for use to replace fingerstick blood glucose (BG) measurements for diabetes treatment decisions. Fingerstick BG measurements are still required for calibration primarily one time a day after day 21, and when symptoms do not match CGM information or when taking medications of the tetracycline class. The sensor insertion and removal procedures are performed by a health care provider. The Eversense E3 CGM System is a prescription device; patients should talk to their health care provider to learn more.
